    According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning is a leading cause of death, especially for infants and those over the age of 85 years old. Bathrooms can be the most dangerous space in a house with their often wet, slippery, hard and sharp surfaces creating inherent risks for personal accidents and injuries.  In addition, outdated electrical receptacles and plumbing can also result in damage to the home.
